Firstly, apologies to those of you who may have received this email twice! We had a glitch on our website, so needed to create this news article again…

Yep, it’s that time of year again and we’re happy to announce that you can now get hold of our 2022 calendars!
These are just £5 each and are the perfect Christmas present… but BE QUICK! They sold out last year and will no doubt do the same again.
You can purchase these NOW from the following locations:
> Tony Almond’s – South Road, Waterloo
> Barnett’s Wholefoods – St John’s Road, Waterloo
> Florence & Fox – St John’s Road, Waterloo
> The Cheese Wheel – College Road, Crosby
> Pet Shack – Rimrose Road, Bootle
> Cookson’s Bridge Pub, Gorsey Lane, Litherland
HUGE thanks to all of these outlets for doing this for us. Please consider supporting them in return.
If you can’t get out and about for any reason, we’re happy to arrange delivery. Please email andy@rimrosevalleyfriends.org providing a contact name, number, full address, the number of copies required and advising whether you wish to pay by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
THANK YOU for your support – this is a great way of raising funds for our charity! All profits will go towards funding our ongoing work, including the campaign to stop National Highways from destroying Rimrose Valley.
COP26 Protest
Unless you’ve been living under a stone, you will be aware that world leaders are currently meeting in Glasgow for the COP26 climate summit.
We’ve been here before and many people do not believe that action is being taken quickly enough.
Tomorrow sees a global day of action for climate justice and Liverpool will be doing its bit with what plans to be a HUGE demonstration, beginning in Sefton Park at midday.
Full details can be found here, but we invite you to join us. We will be addressing the crowds at 12:15 before marching to the city centre, culminating in a rally in Derby Square.
Thank you.
