As you are aware, the proposed road through Rimrose Valley Country Park was finally cancelled on 30th October 2024.
However, issues around the movement of goods in and out of the Port of Liverpool and the impact of HGVs on our communities remain and, unless we start making better transport decisions, there will always be the threat of the road project returning.
It is therefore incredibly important that we continue to bang the drum for better solutions to port access.
You can help do just that by taking part in the Liverpool City Region’s consultation on its draft Local Transport Plan.
