Have you been toying with the idea of getting involved in our campaign to Save Rimrose Valley, but weren’t sure how?
Join us for a day of planning and positive community action as we welcome Chris Todd, Director of Transport Action Network back to Liverpool!
Chris is a seasoned anti-road campaigner and has been supporting our own campaign since we began, way back in 2017. We’ve made great progress in the intervening time, growing a huge groundswell of opposition and delaying the project. However, we need to keep the momentum to see off this proposal once and for all, so we’re looking for new volunteers, new ideas and new energy!
Date: Sat 25th March
Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm (or whatever you can commit to!)
Location: Marine Football Club, The Marine Travel Arena, College Rd, Liverpool L23 3AS
*Tea/Coffee/Sandwiches provided*
We’ll learn more about what’s ahead in our fight against the road proposal as National Highways moves towards its next consultation and we’ll work together to plan our next steps and come up with fresh ideas.
Whether it’s delivering flyers, fundraising, protesting, reviewing documents or coming up with creative, new ways to raise awareness and grow our support, there are lots of ways to get involved and we want to hear from YOU!
We’re delighted to confirm that Marine FC are hosting us. Refreshments will be provided on the day, including teas and coffees and sandwiches for lunch, with vegetarian options. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements and we will try to accommodate you.
