With nearly 4000 signatures on our online petition to get Sefton Council to designate Rimrose Valley as an essential Local Green Space for its future protection; and with well over 100 online surveys also completed online to further help with our evidence for our application; we’re well on the way to being able to show Sefton Council that the community truly does see Rimrose Valley as an essential green space and of special value to us all.
However we need to do more. We need to reach out to people who haven’t heard of our mission or aren’t online. To do this we need your help – we need people amongst us who will be willing to print off some paper versions of our petition and survey and then to ask:
- neighbours, friends and family to sign
- local public places such as pubs, surgeries your place of work and schools to put them on the counter for people to sign
- people in Rimrose Valley to sign
Will you be able to please spare a bit of your time to help with this? If so please will you print off copies of these documents?:
Rimrose Valley Friends Petition (Space for up to 18 signatures per sheet)
Rimrose Valley Friends Survey (Complete one survey per person)
Rimrose Valley Friends Contact Cards (to give to people who want to know more or sign up as a Rimrose Valley Friend)
Even if you print off and get completed only one petition and one survey you’ll be helping us to make a difference, but if you can do more then that’ll be amazing.
When you’re ready to hand the completed forms back to us please either email enquiries@rimrosevalleyfriends.org with your address and phone number so someone can collect them from you, or drop them off at the address at Kinross Road in Waterloo stated on the forms.
